Description

You will drive cloud-based software delivery for higher education clients by managing distributed engineering squads and ensuring global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple India-based contract and full-time engineering squads.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions alongside architects and senior engineers.
• Facilitate handoffs and priority alignment with U.S.-based engineering and product leadership.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, including backlog grooming, sprint execution, and release coordination.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with full-stack exposure.
• 5+ years of engineering or project management experience within distributed, global teams.
• Hands-on expertise with Ruby on Rails and Python/Django.
• Practical experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects from discovery through deployment.
• Strong technical debugging and problem-solving skills.
