Description

You will lead end-to-end cost optimization projects from discovery through to post-implementation review.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scopes, objectives, timelines, and budgets for cost optimization initiatives.
• Define and measure success metrics including ROI, cost savings, and time-to-implement.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to propose architectural changes that reduce cost without compromising performance.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, and Product Management to communicate status and savings goals.
• Establish cloud cost governance policies, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills

• 3-7 years of experience in project or program management, specifically within cloud technology or infrastructure.
• Hands-on familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP services and cost models.
• Proven experience leading FinOps, cost optimization, or cloud infrastructure initiatives.
• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or PMBOK/Prince2 methodologies.
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or MS Project.
• Knowledge of cloud cost monitoring tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, or GCP Billing.
• Understanding of vendor pricing models including AWS savings plans, Azure Hybrid Benefit, and GCP committed use discounts.
• Strong stakeholder management and governance skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of containerization and serverless services including Kubernetes, Docker, Lambda, Azure Functions, or Cloud Functions.
