Lead the technical study to define the future state of digital evidence management for the Connecticut law enforcement community.
Responsibilities
Lead research, analysis, and vendor management to produce formal proposals covering future state requirements, budgets, and schedules.
Collaborate with stakeholders across police departments, the Division of Criminal Justice, the Department of Correction, the Judicial Branch, and state police to document current and future needs for body and vehicle camera systems.
Design a technical framework for secure digital evidence storage and integration in coordination with the Infrastructure/Architecture Manager.
Manage the entire project lifecycle, including resource allocation, task management, and timeline adherence.
Develop and communicate project management guidelines and standards to ensure cohesive execution.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience managing complex enterprise IT integration projects involving networking infrastructure, databases, and cloud computing.
Proven experience managing third-party vendors within large-scale IT environments.
Direct experience in Justice and Safety at a federal, state, or local government level, or military experience in intelligence or cyber backgrounds.
Strong technical background in digital evidence, secure storage, and system integration.
Ability to plan, organize, and monitor project activities, resources, and deliverables under minimal supervision.
Must be local to Connecticut to support travel to state agencies and municipal police departments.
