Description

Own the end-to-end rollout of data platform initiatives, from intake through steady-state governance, while maintaining DB2 modernization timelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage holistic rollout from intake through access design, role configuration, and transition to steady-state ownership.
• Translate stakeholder requirements and decommissioning initiatives into concrete technical actions.
• Provide concise status, risk, and decision updates to senior leaders while shielding delivery teams from noise.
• Define ownership boundaries across Platform, DB2 Modernization, and Analytics teams to prevent duplicated effort.
• Execute controlled, phased onboarding based on platform maturity and business urgency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical project management or data engineering leadership.
• Deep understanding of Dremio access patterns, SailPoint roles, grant stacks, and engine routing.
• Proficiency with Redshift, Glue, and DB2 modernization contexts.
• Experience with platform governance and compliance constraints to avoid rework.
• Ability to drive alignment across engineering, analytics, and platform teams without direct authority.
• Executive-ready communication skills with a bias toward repeatable patterns and clear ownership definitions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience resolving tension points and facilitating decisions across multiple functional teams.
• Background in designing reusable approaches for dashboards and data teams.
