Description

Lead complex technology projects and manage large-scale IT delivery teams in McLean, VA.

Responsibilities

• Direct teams of 20+ IT professionals to deliver complicated technology solutions across multiple business areas.
• Manage project lifecycles using SDLC, Agile methodology, AMCP, and PMLC frameworks.
• Own budget, resource management, and schedule management for projects spanning several systems.
• Control project scope, change requests, risks, and internal quality management processes.
• Develop partnerships across business units to ensure successful SaaS implementations and modern architecture delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software management experience, including leading other managers.
• Proven experience managing projects with small budgets and complex scopes.
• Deep understanding of Agile development and product team workflows.
• Practical knowledge of Cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Familiarity with modern architectures and DevSecOps practices.
• Technical literacy in Java, JavaScript, and Python.
• Experience with SaaS implementations and SDLC.
• Strong skills in risk management, scope control, and stakeholder communication.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced degree or postgraduate studies.
