Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale application and database modernization initiatives, including heterogeneous database migrations such as Oracle to PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server to PostgreSQL.
• Drive monolithic Java application transformation to cloud-native microservices architecture using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Define migration strategies, solution architecture, effort estimation, and delivery plans for modernization programs.
• Manage cross-functional teams comprising architects, developers, DBAs, and cloud engineers.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Oversee application performance, security, scalability, and reliability throughout the transformation lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership for cloud adoption initiatives across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Support presales activities including solutioning, RFP/RFQ responses, technical proposals, and customer presentations.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and database migration projects.
• Expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and containerization technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cloud migration strategies.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong stakeholder management, team leadership, and delivery management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing experience.

Preferred:

• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience in modernization, re-platforming, and cloud transformation programs.
• Exposure to presales, solution architecture, and technical consulting engagements
