Description

You will lead end-to-end complex cloud migration programs.

Responsibilities

• Own the migration program plan, scope, timelines, budget, and deliverables.
• Define migration strategy, overseeing lift-and-shift, replatforming (e.g., MS SQL to Azure SQL/Managed Instance), or refactoring.
• Establish PMO practices, RAID logs, and communication cadence for executive and customer alignment.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Infra, App Dev, DBA, Security) and align CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Terraform/Bicep.

Required Skills

• 15+ years in IT experience, with 5-8+ years leading complex cloud migration programs.
• Strong hands-on understanding of Azure compute (VMs, Scale Sets), networking (VNets, Application Gateway WAF, Private Endpoints), and storage (Azure Files, Blob Storage).
• Expertise with databases, specifically MS SQL migration to Azure SQL/Managed Instance, including DMS and compatibility.
• Proficiency with Azure Service Bus (queues/topics/subscriptions, DLQ) and security controls (RBAC, Managed Identity, Key Vault).
• Experience with migration tools like Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery (ASR), and Database Migration Service.
• Proven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).
