Description

Manage medium to large software development projects within a matrixed organization from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of software projects, balancing granular technical details with high-level objectives.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners, including senior leadership, to ensure strategic alignment.
• Manage multiple competing demands and timelines in a cross-border or virtual team environment.
• Influence stakeholders and team members across diverse cultural backgrounds without direct authority.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of total IT experience.
• 4+ years of project or program management experience.
• Proven track record managing medium to large software development projects.
• Functional knowledge of Credit Card, Banking, or Financial domains.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Agile or Scaled Agile (SAFe) product development environments.
• Proven ability to navigate and deliver within a matrixed organization.
• Experience managing global products and enterprise-level technology solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working at American Express.
