Description

You will lead end-to-end project lifecycles for data engineering and business intelligence initiatives, ensuring high-quality delivery that meets business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, requirements, and goals in collaboration with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules, allocating resources effectively to meet milestones.
• Track project progress, proactively identifying risks and issues while implementing mitigation strategies to prevent delays.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on status and priorities.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of data pipelines, ETL processes, and BI reporting solutions.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in data engineering or BI-focused environments.
• Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, data lakes).
• Hands-on familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik, including data visualization best practices.
• Experience evaluating and selecting BI tools to align with organizational needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Agile or Scrum methodologies using tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience refining project management processes to improve efficiency in data-driven projects.
