Description

You will lead software development projects from scope definition through to timely delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedules, and delivery plans while managing risks, issues, and deviations.
• Lead project status meetings, prepare progress reports for upper management, and coordinate with internal departments.
• Manage stakeholder communications and work directly with clients to ensure deliverables meet scope and budget constraints.
• Drive Agile best practices and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Remove roadblocks for development teams, mentor members, and hold teams accountable to commitments.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in project management, specifically leading software development projects.
• Proficiency with Agile Project Management tools including Jira, Trello, or Open Project.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong technical background sufficient to evaluate complex project risks and lead development teams.
• Proven ability to manage competing demands and maintain high levels of customer trust.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with IT staff and executive-level stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
