Description

You will lead large-scale IT telecommunications migrations, specifically transitioning telephone lines to Zoom Phone and Cisco Call Manager environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage highly detailed technical project schedules for multi-year initiatives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and escalate project risks while actively managing mitigation strategies.
  • Execute clear project communications, including regular status reporting and stakeholder updates.
  • Coordinate work with multiple vendors to ensure alignment on milestones and priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support bi-directional communication.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of experience as a primary, lead, or solo project manager on enterprise-level IT projects.
  • Proven experience managing large, complex IT telecommunications migrations.
  • Direct experience with Cisco or Zoom phone system migrations, implementations, or upgrades.
  • Previous experience working at a U.S. University or College (within your last three roles).
  • Experience operating within a formal PMO environment.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or ITIL certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in a science or technical discipline, focusing on technology or information management, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced experience in higher education environments.
  • Expertise in managing diverse stakeholder groups with diplomacy.
