Description

Own enterprise data engineering projects and technical programs, ensuring delivery of IBM DataStage solutions and modern data architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects involving IBM DataStage, SQL, and ETL delivery for data warehousing initiatives.
• Manage complex data modernization programs, including cloud migrations to Snowflake or AWS.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to translate technical delivery into business outcomes using ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
• Oversee distributed delivery teams, contractors, and third-party vendors in regulated financial services environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience delivering IBM DataStage and enterprise data engineering solutions.
• 5+ years leading technical projects or programs.
• Strong expertise in SQL, ETL, and data warehousing.
• Experience with cloud platforms: Snowflake or AWS.
• Proficiency in project management tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Project.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Local to McLean, VA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, or mortgage/regulated financial services.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
