Description

You will lead security technology initiatives by managing cross-functional projects through their entire lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Host recurring and ad hoc meetings to review progress, track deliverables, and drive technical decisions.
• Escalate project issues, manage stakeholder expectations, and propose solutions to mitigate operational risk.
• Provide clear, actionable reporting and metrics to synthesize data into meaningful insights.
• Manage resource contention and multiple high-intensity projects simultaneously.
• Build collaborative relationships with engineering teams and stakeholders across multiple disciplines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience within technology organizations.
• 5+ years of direct project management experience.
• PMP or equivalent certification is required.
• Proven track record leading security technology initiatives from a cross-functional perspective.
• Experience delivering projects in blended Agile and Waterfall development environments.
• Familiarity with Agile SDLC principles and change management best practices.
• Holistic understanding of Security & Risk Management, Security Engineering, and Network Security.
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management, Security Assessment & Testing, and Security Operations.
• Working knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework and NIST Security and Privacy Controls.

Preferred Skills

• Strong working knowledge of Commonwealth of VA Information Security Standard (SEC530).
• CISSP or CISM certifications.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
