Description

You will manage software engineering projects, balancing technical requirements with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Create project plans, set timelines, and define project goals.
• Maintain communication with developers, upper management, and customers to ensure alignment.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect deadlines and software quality.
• Lead engineering teams and make decisions on project trade-offs regarding scope, timeline, and quality.
• Guide architectural decisions to ensure system scalability, maintainability, and performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in an Agile environment.
• Technical proficiency in Java to understand engineering challenges.
• Working knowledge of Java frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, or Java EE.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience using project management tools like JIRA or Trello.
• Understanding of CI/CD systems and DevOps tools including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• PMI-ACP or PMP certification.
