Description

Lead technical groups within the Portfolio Management group, providing oversight for complex programs and products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Guide experienced program managers on governance and project management functions.
• Coordinate technical teams and architects to resolve delivery impediments and identify dependencies.
• Drive third-party vendor integrations through to delivery acceptance and project closure.
• Prepare executive-level communications regarding project tracking and stakeholder management.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to develop technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 8+ years delivering technical programs in dispersed, multi-team environments.
• 8+ years with general IT SDLC processes and software development procedures.
• 8+ years engaging multiple technical teams to drive portfolio goals.
• 8+ years of experience using Jira.
• In-depth knowledge of Scrum, Agile methodologies, User Stories, CI, ATDD, TDD, and Continuous Testing.
• Experience implementing Enterprise Systems Integration projects.
• Knowledge of managing .NET and Java-based application web systems.
• Knowledge of integration platforms, specifically MuleSoft ESB and CloudHub.
• Strong ability to facilitate large group meetings with internal and external resources.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years with Texas state government agencies.
• 5+ years with multivendor software professional services for enterprise customers or communication service providers.
• PMP certification.
