Description

You will own the end-to-end incident response lifecycle and proactive threat assessment processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify, contain, eradicate, and recover from security incidents.
• Monitor and investigate reports of malicious activity, intrusions, and anomalous network behavior.
• Perform forensic analysis using established security tools and processes.
• Process threat intelligence to identify actionable intelligence.
• Develop standard operating procedures and technical training documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in information security, forensics, or security incident response.
• Proficiency with network protocols including TCP/IP, SNMP, SMTP, NTP, DNS, LDAP, NFS, and SAMBA.
• Experience managing LAN, WAN, Internet, Proxy/Filtering, Firewall, VPN, and DMZ environments.
• Working knowledge of encryption, hardening, Security GRC, SIEM, and malware analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of IT systems and methods for developing, testing, and implementing solutions.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP, CCFP, CCE, CHFI, CISA, or CISM certifications.
• Experience applying IOCs to identify threats and prevent infrastructure vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with frameworks including ISO 27001/27002, PCI DSS v4, GLBA, HIPAA/HITECH, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and CIS RAM.
