Description

Manage and support operational production databases at scale in on-premise and cloud environments. Own technical customer success by prioritizing workflows and resolving complex issues under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage production databases across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Troubleshoot Linux performance, memory management, I/O tuning, and networking issues.
  • Communicate technical updates to internal and external stakeholders to influence decisions.
  • Work independently and cross-functionally to meet customer needs during swing shifts.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience deploying and managing production databases at scale.
  • Proficiency with MongoDB or MySQL.
  • Systems engineering expertise in Linux configuration, security, and clusters.
  • Experience with cloud architectures: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols: DNS, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS.
  • Ability to work swing shifts to align with global customer time zones.
  • Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

  • Industry certifications such as RedHat Certified Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch or PostgreSQL.
  • Fluency in Spanish, Japanese, or Mandarin.
