Description

Support senior traders and operators in overseeing client and third-party generation fleets in real-time markets.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client and third-party customer generation fleets in real-time markets.
• Complete daily recurring shift tasks as part of the NEM Asset Operations team.
• Monitor power generation economics and dispatch characteristics.
• Utilize ISO/RTO protocols and market portals to manage transmission reservation and tagging systems.
• Follow established procedures to ensure operational accuracy.

Required Skills

• Experience with ISO/RTO market portals including NYISO, PJM, SERC, SPP, MISO, ERCOT, CAISO, WECC, IESO, and AESO.
• Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel.
• Understanding of power generation economics and dispatch characteristics.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating Dupont Schedule (Thursday-Friday 6 am to 2 pm; Saturday-Sunday 6 am to 6 pm).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail for real-time market operations.
• Bachelor's degree (completed or substantial completion) or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• 1+ years of experience in generator operation or Control Center environments.
