Description

You will lead the design, development, and documentation of engineering software applications, providing technical leadership and guiding the team on technology states.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and troubleshoot engineering software applications and major enhancements.
• Develop project plans, functional specifications, and schedules while directing technical software architecture.
• Lead software development projects at a systems level and provide direction for technical teams.
• Collaborate with management, product lines, and customers to develop new applications and technologies.

Required Skills

• Software programming using Siemens PLC and LabVIEW.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens PLC hardware.
• Experience with National Instruments cRIO and LabVIEW hardware.
• Practical experience with process controls.
• 4 years of related experience with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline, or 8 years of software development experience.
• Proven ability to lead software development projects at a systems level.
