Description

You will troubleshoot network hardware and software issues for customers across the product lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical concerns related to installation, operation, maintenance, and compatibility via phone or email.
• Troubleshoot hardware equipment and software applications, recommending corrective actions.
• Administer and troubleshoot network protocols in a production environment.
• Document customer communications and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting network protocols.
• Proficiency in BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP stack (IPv4/IPv6, NAT, VLAN), and Linux.
• Experience designing, deploying, configuring, and supporting network technologies.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, Wireshark, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with networking industry products and protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AAA/TACACS, ACL, ARP, DHCP, MPLS, SNMP, or STP variants.
• Experience with packet analysis tools like tcpdump or IXIA.
