Description

You will provide technical support and resolution for customer product inquiries, focusing on network infrastructure issues.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer product inquiries via telephone or written email.
• Resolve concerns related to installation, operation, maintenance, or product compatibility.
• Troubleshoot hardware equipment and software application problems, recommending corrective actions.
• Document customer communications and recurring technical issues for product quality and development teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in networking industry products and protocols.
• Experience designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, and debugging network protocols including AAA/TACACS, ACL, ARP, DHCP, IPv4 & IPv6, VLAN (IEEE 802.1q), and NAT.
• Proficiency with troubleshooting tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark or similar packet analysis tools.
• Working knowledge of networking protocols including BGP (RFC 4271), OSPF (RFC 2328), MPLS, and STP/RSTP/MST (IEEE 802.1d).
• Strong comfort level with Linux.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, and JavaScript.
