Description

Provide post-sales technical support for Arista products, focusing on Cloudvision (CVP / CVaaS).

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer concerns regarding installation, operation, maintenance, and product compatibility via telephone or email.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software application problems and recommend corrective actions.
• Recreate customer network issues within a dedicated lab environment.
• Document customer communications and recurring technical issues to assist product quality and development programs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting network protocols and technologies.
• Expertise in network management platforms and DevOps platforms.
• Proficiency with APIs including JSON, gRPC, curl, Postman, or requests.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Experience with containers using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Solid Linux administration skills.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Proficiency with cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Version control experience using GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Ethernet, VLANs, IP routing, TCP/IP, Multicast, and protocols such as BGP, ISIS, OSPF, PIM, and IGMP.
• Experience with server virtualization solutions like VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, or KVM.
• Proficiency with network troubleshooting tools such as Tcpdump and Wireshark.
