Description

You provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex data center hardware and software environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer product inquiries via telephone and email.
• Resolve concerns regarding installation, operation, maintenance, and product compatibility.
• Troubleshoot hardware equipment and software applications to recommend corrective actions.
• Document customer communications and recurring technical issues to support product development.
• Collaborate with Software and Hardware development teams to diagnose and communicate technical problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting network protocols.
• Deep knowledge of TACACS, ACL, ARP, BGP, SNMP, STP/RSTP, VARP/VRRP, and VLAN.
• Proficiency with programming/scripting in C++, Java, Python, Perl, JavaScript, or shell.
• Experience with networking industry products and protocols.
• Strong analytical skills for triaging and debugging complex environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical contexts.
• Ability to learn and teach new features and products as they are released.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with troubleshooting tools such as IXIA, tcpdump, or Wireshark.
• Prior TAC experience and industry certifications.
