Description

You will design, develop, and support service-oriented application systems using SOA architecture, focusing on integration layers and migration projects.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical designs for integration layers based on functional requirements and user specifications.
• Build and integrate layers using the WebSphere SOA stack.
• Migrate COBOL/Mainframe/MQ code from SOAP to REST.
• Execute unit testing and manage maintenance projects or bug fixes.
• Research and resolve production environment issues.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in IBM Mainframe COBOL, DB2, and CICS development.
• Proficiency in DB2, Native Stored Procedures, CICS, Batch, JCL, VSAM, QMF, and TSO/ISPF.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP) and XML.
• Experience with BMC products, Abend-Aid, FileAid, Changman, Xpeditor, and ZOSConnect.
• Strong knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Ability to perform application development and unit testing.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the banking industry.
• Working knowledge of Java Spring Framework and Spring Boot for microservices.
• Experience interfacing with IBM DataPower, WEBS, or IIB.
