Description

You will develop and enhance the Iowa Rehabilitation Services System (IRSSS) for case management, focusing on security enhancements and feature development.

Responsibilities

• Implement security enhancements including identity access management integration, data encryption at rest and in transit, and federal audit logging compliance.
• Update web applications, SQL databases, web forms, and other system components.
• Assist in requirements refinement and translate business needs into technical specifications during the discovery phase.
• Develop and maintain ETL routines, complex T-SQL queries, and data visualizations.
• Test T-SQL code and create necessary test data to ensure application stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML, and Web API.
• Experience with SOAP and RESTful services.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including T-SQL development (views, stored procedures, functions, indexing) and Dynamic SQL.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL routines and Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Proven ability to integrate event logging and auditing for application security.
• Hands-on experience protecting data in databases and during transit.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and the SDLC.
• Competency using SQL Profiler, Database Engine Tuning Advisor, and Execution Plans.
