Description

Lead technical direction for software projects, defining architecture and coordinating proposals for group leads and clients. You will design enhancements for COTS applications, manage system configurations, and support ad hoc reporting.

Responsibilities

• Define system technical architecture, including software and hardware requirements within established constraints.
• Design COTS application enhancements, including system configuration, field additions, and screen modifications.
• Create and maintain requirements and specification documentation for all system modifications.
• Define test plans, acceptance criteria, and execute product testing for modified components.
• Identify and track project issues, risks, and action items while providing accurate status updates.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for script development and data management.
• Experience using PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.
• Proven ability to design and define overall system technical architecture.
• Experience with COTS application configuration and maintenance.
• Strong capability in conducting structured technical walk-throughs and inspections.
• Ability to provide accurate time estimates and project schedules.
• Experience communicating technical requirements to IT staff and client organizations.

Preferred Skills

• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
