Act as the primary build and support contact for specific Epic modules within a new EHR implementation.
Responsibilities
Build, configure, and test EpicCare Inpatient modules including Clinical Documentation, Secure Chat, Rover, Clinical Case Management, and Behavioral Health.
Design and develop solutions to resolve complex inter-related application issues and maintenance needs.
Guide workflow design and serve as the technical liaison between end-user requirements and implementation staff.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues while evaluating hardware and software requirements.
Manage project timelines and deliverables through regular communication with leadership and Epic representatives.
Required Skills
Epic certification in EpicCare Inpatient (Clinical Documentation, Secure Chat & Rover, Clinical Case Management, and Behavioral Health).
8 years of Health IT experience.
5 years of Epic implementation or operations support experience.
8 years of experience with Epic tools including Clinical Case Management, Rover, MyChart Bedside, Behavioral Health, and Epic Monitor.
8 years of experience with clinical and regulatory requirements for behavioral health settings.
8 years of experience in system architecture, security protocols, and troubleshooting.
5 years of knowledge regarding clinical workflows and typical billing workflows.
5 years of working knowledge in application development and system integration.
8 years of experience developing test plans and scenarios for assigned data systems.
