Description

You will lead the migration, analysis, and upgrading of agency ColdFusion applications, ensuring seamless transitions between versions and secure deployments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze ColdFusion application code to identify features retired, removed, deprecated, or unsupported in ColdFusion 2023.
• Recommend mitigation options and define migration paths for applications affected by version changes.
• Upgrade application software code to utilize HTTPS and create Azure Deploy Pipelines.
• Troubleshoot issues for applications migrated from ColdFusion 2018 to 2023.
• Architect and document the logical structure for software systems and databases.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in software development or a related area.
• Advanced skills in developing, testing, and deploying ColdFusion applications.
• Direct experience with ColdFusion solutions, code analyzers, and version migrations.
• Proficiency with the Information System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.
• Experience with requirements management and performing analysis within source code.
• Ability to provide task estimates and manage multiple concurrent assignments by priority.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for user interaction and documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
