Description

Lead the implementation and configuration of SolarWinds monitoring tools to replace legacy Broadcom/CA systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure the SolarWinds Server and Application Monitor (SAM) module.
• Set up distributed server threshold-based performance alerting for AIX, Solaris, Windows, and Linux environments.
• Configure performance data collection and reporting for managed server fleets.
• Develop alerting mechanisms based on log file messages and process states across multiple operating systems.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience implementing and configuring SolarWinds Server and Application Monitor (SAM).
• Hands-on experience with AIX, Solaris, and Windows server environments.
• Experience managing performance alerting and data collection for Linux servers.
• Ability to configure monitoring for distributed server architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA).
• Experience with SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM).
