Description

You will serve as a niche subject matter expert for large, complex implementations and statewide system integrations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical design and support for industry-specific applications requiring integration with statewide systems.
• Identify and implement best practices, standards, and improvements to project quality and service delivery.
• Lead and oversee Business Analysts and related team members to ensure project alignment.
• Document business process flows, RFP development, and CMS-related documentation for MMIS Certification.
• Convey complex technical and functional concepts to executive-level business users and technical experts.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Medicaid, MMIS, claims processing, or related technical domains.
• 7+ years of experience with requirements gathering and eliciting requirements from business owners.
• 7+ years of experience in project management and documenting status reports, SOPs, and policies.
• 7+ years of experience with SDLC methodologies including Agile, waterfall, hybrid, or iterative models.
• 5+ years of state government or public sector experience with health and human services programs.
• 5+ years of experience documenting business process flows, JAD, and RFP development/review.
• 5+ years of experience in leadership, management, or oversight of Business Analysts.
• MMIS/CMS certification or CMS Medicaid Enterprise Certification Life Cycle process experience.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Medicaid, Health IT, or Health Insurance environments.
• 5+ years of experience using project tracking tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of MITA 3.0 and CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration).
