Description

You will design and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, Cognos reports, and data models to support healthcare program oversight and business analysis.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and detailed project documentation.
• Connect to, extract, and prepare data from large, complex healthcare data sources.
• Design efficient metadata models using Cognos Framework Manager and data modules.
• Manage dashboard deployment, user access, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with business partners to propose analytical solutions and ensure effective tool adoption.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of advanced Tableau experience developing visualizations.
• 5+ years of expertise in SAS and SQL, including joining multiple tables within large, normalized data warehouses.
• 3+ years of active experience with Cognos dashboard and report development.
• 5 years of Tableau administration skills, including folder management and performance tuning.
• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and resolving complex data infrastructure problems.
• Proven ability to work with Medicaid Management Information systems (MMIS), claims, or provider/eligibility data.
• Must be local to North Carolina.
• Ability to provide and present samples of personally created Tableau dashboards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Medicaid claims, encounter data, or healthcare administrative data.
• 3 years of hands-on ETL tool experience.
