Description

Design and implement test automation scripts to ensure software quality through rigorous code reviews and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test automation scripts using OpenText ALM and the UFT test suite.
• Identify and resolve automation issues and technical challenges during execution.
• Collaborate with software developers and SQA analysts to verify product functionality.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback on automation scripts.
• Mentor team members on automation fundamentals and testing techniques.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience with VB scripting to create and modify test case code.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with manual test execution, test scenario writing, and test case writing.
• Proficiency with OpenText ALM and the UFT test suite.
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira or ALM.
• Solid SQL knowledge to query IBM Db2 data and verify results.
• Experience developing and maintaining test automation scripts as applications change.
• Experience with manual test metrics and reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with UFT's Business Process Testing (BPT) framework and mainframe automation scripts.
• Experience with Tricentis Tosca, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Experience with performance testing.
