Description

You will manage network infrastructure systems, resolving IT issues and ensuring optimal service availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement new service component releases following controlled change, configuration, and release management processes.
• Coordinate deployment and implementation projects for agency networking services.
• Develop and coordinate implementation and deployment plans with agencies beforehand.
• Perform fault isolation and remediation to maintain optimal service availability.
• Complete Root Cause Analysis to determine the true source of pervasive problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years designing, implementing, and managing networking solutions in large enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Service Provider Networks, WANs, Data Center Networks, Metro Ethernet Switching, and Routed Networks.
• Technical knowledge configuring Cisco ASR Router platforms (ASR 9902, 9903, 9904, ASR 9000 Series nV).
• Proficiency in configuring MPLS, OSPF, BGP routing best practices.
• Experience upgrading OS for suites of ASR routers and physically installing routers in remote WAN POPs.
• 5+ years deploying and transitioning services during approved after-hours maintenance windows.
• Knowledge of Vlan, Mpls, Ospf, Bgp, Ebgp, Ibgp.
• ITIL Foundations Certification completed.
