Description

You will manage the installation, customization, and maintenance of vendor software products on DIT systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and customize vendor software using standard naming conventions and SMP/E guidelines.
• Coordinate with vendors and systems programming staff to implement patches, fix packs, and maintenance upgrades.
• Configure security rules using z/OS Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) and manage transaction service interfaces.
• Schedule and test software upgrades during off-peak hours to minimize production impact.
• Analyze reported problems and work with vendors to establish corrective action plans.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with IBM IZPCA.
• 5+ years of experience with z/OS Resource Access Control Facility (RACF).
• 5+ years of experience with IBM Cognos.
• Experience with SMP/E installation processes.
• Ability to perform system performance monitoring and tuning.
• Strong technical documentation skills for user guides and bulletins.
• Degree in any field of study.
