Description

Develop firmware and low-level software for embedded systems in San Diego, CA. You will own the full development lifecycle from design to release.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using C/C++11, 14, and 17 standards on Aurix Tricore hardware.
• Design and maintain Board Support Packages (BSP) through porting, debugging, and development.
• Implement firmware requirements following ISO 26262 functional safety standards.
• Create UML models including state diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams.
• Conduct unit testing using gTest and similar frameworks to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Embedded C and C++11, 14, or 17.
• Hands-on experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS, or QNX.
• Experience with Aurix Tricore application development.
• Proficiency in BSP development, porting, and debugging.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 for firmware development and requirements engineering.
• Experience with TRAICE 32 debugging tools.
• Competency in UML modeling (state, sequence, and class diagrams).
• Familiarity with gTest or equivalent unit testing frameworks.
• Understanding of Lock Step programming and AUTOSAR development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile tools including JIRA and Polarion.
