Description

You will lead database migration, SQL Server upgrades, and .NET application compatibility within the SDLC.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, testing, and execution of SQL Server upgrades with minimal downtime.
• Plan and implement data migration strategies using ETL processes, ensuring data integrity.
• Collaborate with development teams to maintain compatibility and performance of .NET applications post-upgrade.
• Utilize SSIS and SSRS/Power BI for data migration and reporting requirements.
• Ensure application logic and data access layers function correctly using .NET frameworks.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in SDLC projects.
• Proficiency with C# and ASP.NET application logic and data access (ADO.NET, Entity Framework).
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL.
• Experience leading SQL Server upgrade projects.
• Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI.
• Understanding of .NET framework concepts, including VB.NET.
• Knowledge of AWS, specifically cloud-based SQL database solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java.
