You will manage the end-to-end development and coordination of Advance Planning Documents (APD) and related planning documentation.
Responsibilities
Develop, collect, and compile data from business and technology teams to create viable APDs and planning documents within required timelines.
Coordinate with stakeholders, suppliers, legal teams, and subject matter experts to gather requirements and secure final sign-off on APDs.
Facilitate APD review meetings and interface with mid-level executive management to provide concise project updates.
Review contract and amendment submittal letters for accuracy and ensure all documentation aligns with relevant regulations and standards.
Maintain awareness of CMS policy updates and monitor project activities using established tools and templates.
Required Skills
8+ years of experience in technical or specialized roles.
7+ years of experience in APD development, Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), contract, or grant writing.
8+ years of experience in state government or public sector work with health and human services programs, such as Medicaid, MMIS, or eligibility systems.
7+ years of working knowledge regarding state, local, and county government regulations for grant proposals and contracts.
5+ years of experience managing multiple priorities, including project scope, development schedules, and change management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Strong project management, follow-up, and written communication skills for converting complex concepts into clear documentation.
