Description

You will provide technical services for hardware and software across the district, supporting students, teachers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues for desktops, laptops, and tablets to ensure equipment reliability.
• Set up, service, and maintain audio/video technology, including digital projectors, microphones, and interactive whiteboards.
• Manage new technology deployments, asset inventory, recovery, and recycling processes.
• Install multifunction devices and ensure network connectivity for printing and user access.
• Leverage the ITSM platform to manage service requests, document resolutions, and escalate incidents.
• Support district events, including board meetings and community workshops, requiring periodic evening and weekend work.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of desktop and computer support experience.
• Proficiency with Windows, MacOS, and iOS systems.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365/Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on computers and peripheral equipment.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a challenging environment.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation for frequent travel between schools and the central office.

Preferred Skills

• A+ Certification.
• Experience with VoIP and audiovisual equipment setup.
• Knowledge of ITIL Foundations.
• Experience working in an urban public school district.
