Description

You will provide L2-L1 technical production support for asset management trading applications in heterogeneous environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage production stability and Major Incident Management (MIM) for settlement, confirmation, and asset servicing applications.
• Perform deep-dive investigations into complex system issues and implement root cause analysis to minimize future problems.
• Act as a liaison between end users and IT teams, including application development and infrastructure support.
• Collaborate with Service Continuity and BCM teams to manage DR, process flow tests, and emergency production patching.
• Provide expert technical opinion on system functionality, design, and business-driven technical strategies.

Required Skills

• 1+ years of production application support experience within the financial or banking domain.
• Technical proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Marklogic, Linux, and Windows.
• Experience supporting .NET and web-based technologies.
• Working knowledge of monitoring and support tools including GENEOS, Splunk, and ServiceNow.
• Hands-on experience with batch schedulers such as Control-M and reporting engines like Qlik.
• Detailed knowledge and practical experience with ITIL methodologies.
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the trade lifecycle, F2B processes, and financial products like Equity, Swaps, Futures, Fixed Income, or Commodities.
• Experience with trading management applications such as Charles River Investment Management System.
• Experience supporting front office/trade floor users.
