Description

You will provide technical support and consulting for complex cloud and data environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network connectivity, including name resolution, virtual networks, and firewall configurations.
• Manage and support RDBMS or MPP cloud-based databases such as SQL Server, Azure Synapse, or Azure Data Explorer.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools like Azure Data Factory or SSIS.
• Perform network trace analysis and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Support big data and analytics products across distributed environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of technical support, technical consulting, or IT experience, preferably with Azure or other cloud providers.
• 2 years of SQL developer experience.
• Proficiency in T-SQL, PL/SQL, or Kusto (Azure Data Explorer).
• Experience with SQL Server, Data Warehouse, or Azure Synapse.
• Knowledge of ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory or SSIS.
• Strong background in network connectivity and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Python, Scala, or R.
• Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, Hive, or Azure Databricks.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Technology Certifications or CCNA/Network+ certification.
• Experience with Azure Cosmos DB, MongoDB, or NoSQL services.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Power BI, or Data Modelling.
