Description

You will manage and maintain Windows client and server environments, hardware, and storage solutions within a data center setting.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows client and server environments, including clustered and standalone servers and blade servers.
• Manage hardware and storage solutions using VMware, RAID, and SAN technologies.
• Deploy monitoring tools, apply patches, and manage antivirus protection to meet security and compliance standards.
• Lead incident escalation and participate in root cause analyses to improve system reliability.
• Develop technical documentation for lab computing equipment and define requirements for system improvements.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical system incidents and manage service tickets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system administration, infrastructure support, or lab operations.
• Expertise in Windows Server environments.
• Hands-on experience with VMware.
• Proficiency with RAID and SAN technologies.
• Experience managing server and storage hardware in data center environments.
• Knowledge of IT security standards, patch management, and antivirus solutions.
• Ability to monitor and troubleshoot Windows and Linux server performance and stability.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
