Description

You will act as a subject matter expert providing high-level escalation and triage support for complex distributed network environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level triage and escalation support to frontline TAC engineers.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across SONiC, Cisco Nexus, and Cisco IOS-XR environments.
• Replicate customer issues in lab environments to identify root causes and resolve them independently.
• Document lessons learned through knowledge base articles, chalk talks, and technical training.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to resolve intricate technical issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in the computer networking field.
• 3-5 years of working knowledge with SONiC in production environments.
• Expertise in networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS, and Segment Routing.
• Proficiency with Linux and containerization technologies, specifically Docker.
• Experience acting as a Level 3 support engineer.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed networks and various Network Operating Systems.
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Telecommunications.

Preferred Skills

• In-depth knowledge of AI infrastructure networks and RDMA.
• Expertise in software infrastructure components such as SAI, BSP, and SDK.
• Experience with large web-scale content providers or cloud hosting networks.
