Description

You will provide Level 3 support for Cognos BI applications within the Enterprise BI & Analytics team.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex production issues independently or in collaboration with infrastructure, ETL, and data teams.
• Perform root cause analysis to devise, test, and implement permanent solutions.
• Identify recurring issues and propose automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Document technical procedures to enable handovers to Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
• Assist in the development, testing, and execution of Enterprise BI & Analytics projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical support or application support roles.
• Expertise in IBM Cognos Analytics, including Framework Manager, Transformer, Data Modeling, Reports, and Dashboards.
• Strong SQL skills, specifically with Oracle.
• Experience with job scheduling using BMC Control-M.
• Proficiency in scripting with DOS/batch or PowerShell.
• Practical experience with ServiceNow for incident management and ticket workflows.
• Familiarity with agile delivery tools and methodologies, such as Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to other BI tools such as Planning Analytics or PowerBI.
