Description

You will manage and maintain computing infrastructure, operating systems, and middleware across mainframes, workstations, and servers to support 24/7 business processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Optimize operating system software parameters and product solutions to ensure peak performance.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for troubleshooting complex hardware, system, and application issues.
• Manage virtual desktop infrastructures (VDIs) using VMware Horizon and oversee Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, ksh, and Python.
• Contribute to business process engineering and support hybrid cloud and IBM PowerHA clustering initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise systems administration.
• Expert-level Windows Server administration including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
• Advanced proficiency in VMware suite, including ESXi, vCenter, and Horizon.
• Hands-on experience with RedHat Linux and Kubernetes container orchestration.
• Strong automation skills using PowerShell, ksh, and Python.
• Deep knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security measures.
• Experience managing SAN storage solutions and enterprise integrations.
• Proven ability to design and implement backup solutions and disaster recovery plans.
• Working knowledge of ITIL practices for service management.

Preferred Skills

• Extensive experience managing large-scale enterprise environments.
• Expertise in business process engineering.
