Description

You will lead Avaloq delivery streams, solution design, and technical quality for banking operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead Avaloq solution design, program initiatives, and end-to-end validation of impact across modules.
• Perform technical design reviews, code audits, and review the work of junior developers.
• Manage Avaloq release processes, including creating streams, releases, and installation packages.
• Troubleshoot the Avaloq banking system by analyzing installation logs and underlying Oracle schemas.
• Manage Avaloq kernel issues through the official issue management tool.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in banking operations, trade lifecycles, or investment/superannuation products.
• Subject matter expertise in Avaloq functional and technical modules.
• Expertise in Avaloq development tools including ICE and SQL Developer.
• Advanced parameterization skills in Avaloq scripts, Cost & Fees, Order Validations, and workflow management.
• Deep understanding of Book and Balance engines, Avaloq messaging interface (AMI), and Task and Reporting frameworks.
• Knowledge of Avaloq concepts including EOOD, Pillars, and Rule loading.
• Proficiency with Avaloq smart client modules such as Forms, Central Services, and Portfolio desk.
• Hands-on experience with SQL tuning and performance tuning using SQL Trace and PL/SQL Hierarchical Profile (HPROF).
• Strong proficiency in Oracle, PL/SQL, and SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Avaloq Database Automation and Integration (ADAI).
• Hands-on experience with Unix scripting for release management.
