Description

You will produce technical documentation for systems development projects within complex human services delivery environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop systems documentation including user manuals, installation guides, and program maintenance manuals.
• Document computer operations, backup, recovery, and restart procedures.
• Create and manage Microsoft Word templates using form fields and bookmarking to pre-populate variable data.
• Integrate template fields with Java applications to establish locked or overwriteable data fields.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with electronic publishing tools such as FrameMaker, Dreamweaver, and Acrobat Pro.
• 5+ years of experience developing systems documentation for Federal, state, or local government delivery systems.
• 4+ years of experience managing Microsoft Word templates in direct conjunction with Java applications.
• Proficiency in using Word's form fields and bookmarking features.
• Experience writing installation guides and recovery procedures.
