Description

You will plan, develop, and maintain information products supporting the full product and service lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create product manuals, instruction manuals, and how-to guides.
• Gather information from SMEs to develop procedure manuals and technical specifications.
• Proofread and reauthor engineering documents to simplify complex functionality.
• Present complex information using Simplified Technical English (STE) and Plain English.
• Participate in peer reviews as an editor and proofreader.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering product documentation.
• Proficiency with Adobe FrameMaker and RoboHelp.
• Experience with XML authoring and tools like Arbortext Editor.
• Advanced use of Content Management Systems, specifically Windchill.
• Skill in illustration and graphic design using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Expertise in grammar, punctuation, and attention to detail.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas domain.

Preferred Skills

• B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics engineering.
• Masters in English or an equivalent degree.
