Description

Produce client-facing documentation to guide customers through product setup and usage for Visa Risk Manager and Compromised Account Management System. Research and document new and updated features. Improve existing documentation and ensure accuracy through collaboration with developers, designers, product managers, and customer support. Adhere to department style and process guidelines within an Agile development environment. Attend project meetings, create schedules, and report progress to stakeholders. Maintain positive working relationships with team members to ensure high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain accurate, user-focused documentation for risk and payment products.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to capture feature details and updates.
• Refactor and update existing content to reflect current product behavior.
• Manage documentation schedules and report progress to stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Enforce style guides and publishing standards across all deliverables.

Required Skills

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a writing and publishing environment.
• Proficiency with XML and XML documentation tools.
• Hands-on experience with DITA documentation structure and implementation.
• Experience using MadCap Flare or Oxygen XML for content creation.
• Knowledge of version control systems, specifically Git.
• Ability to work effectively within an Agile methodology.
• Strong technical writing and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of APIs and XML.
• Knowledge of eCommerce applications or the payments industry.
