Description

You will create and maintain developer-facing documentation for APIs. You will own the technical content lifecycle from drafting to publication.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit developer documentation using established best-practice templates.
• Collaborate with product managers to define business use cases for APIs and work with engineering teams to understand technical implementation.
• Test interactive REST API documentation from a developer's perspective to ensure accuracy.
• Revise and publish technical drafts to the DevNet site.
• Advocate for developer needs to ensure high-quality documentation standards.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing.
• Proven experience documenting APIs and strong proficiency with REST APIs.
• Strong proficiency in Markdown.
• Experience using Git and GitHub for source control.
• Strong grammar and spelling skills.
• Technical background with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear language.
• Experience collaborating with other writers to manage projects and design technical content.
• Ability to participate actively in daily technical meetings.
