API documentation experience

Experience working with other writers to manager projects and design technical

Technically savvy enough about technology; understanding where pain points are and translate what is being said into Lamins terms

Proactive, very involved in day to day meetings

Coming from technical background

Proficient in Markdown

Experience with Git and Git-based source control platform such as GitHub

In this position, we want the candidate to:

Requirements

 Write and edit developer documentation using a best-practice template.

Collaborate with the product managers to understand the business use cases for the APIs.

Work with the engineering team who creates the APIs.

Revise drafts to publish on the DevNet site at developer.cisco.com.

Test interactive REST API documentation as a developer would.

Advocate for excellent documentation on the behalf of developers using Cisco technology.
